What’s up with the world today? So much fuss over a movie, so much hype about a controversial book written by Dan Brown… Why bother going to such lengths of banning the book/movie? What are our church leaders afraid of? If the peoples’ faith is strong, then why be afraid? There is cause for alarm only if one’s faith is fragile and fallible, as well as one’s gullibility. Yet, it all boils down to the reader, how he deals with the concept or premise delivered by Brown. The only good thing however that we can derive from the "Da Vinci Code experience" is that it opens the grounds for discussion among church leaders and followers alike. There should be a renewal of faith, if not reinforcement of faith in order to prevent such ‘poisons’ to invade our psyches. God warns us about false prophets in the coming End of Days, and so we must take our stand and fight for the truth. You decide.
